Contaminated Soil Removed

Update: Contaminated soil has been removed from the site. All soil that was removed was tested and characterized to determine the proper disposal method.  The City’s environmental consultant, Ramboll, will begin backfilling the site soon.  Backfilling will be done in coordination with the developer.

This project is funded by the Equitable Community Revitalization Grant, supported by California Climate Investments—a statewide initiative that uses Cap-and-Trade dollars to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, strengthen the economy, and improve public health and the environment.
